The Bombardier Global 6000 costs between $22m for a 2012 model and $64.30m for a 2021 model, per Aircraft Bluebook’s Autumn 2022 data. Actual sale prices for an individual aircraft are impacted by a variety of factors, including its maintenance condition.
There are a number of other options that compete with the Bombardier Global 6000 in the ultra-long-range market, including the new Gulfstream G600, which boasts a similar range of 6,600nm, and the Dassault Falcon 8X (6,450nm range).
The Bombardier Global 6000 jet offers some of the highest comfort levels on the market, with the company’s ‘Premier’ cabin available as an option on the aircraft (inspired by the interior of the larger, longer-range Global 7500). The aircraft also boasts the highest availability of electrical power in its category, according to the manufacturer, with four variable frequency generators and an auxiliary power unit, providing reliability for long missions.
The Global 6500 offers 600nm miles of additional range over the Global 6000, while it has a fuel burn advantage of up to 13%. According to Bombardier, this produces favourable operating costs when the aircraft is compared with smaller aircraft with more restricted range.
